YANMAR America Energy Systems Names Mike Mehrvarz as Senior Engineer


mehrvarz_michael-croppedYANMAR America’s Energy Systems division is pleased to announce that Mike Mehrvarz has joined the company in the position of Senior Engineer. Mehrvarz brings more than 15 years of experience in development, design and engineering of HVAC equipment.

As the Senior Engineer, Mehrvarz will be responsible for designing YANMAR’s Energy Systems equipment into commercial facilities, as well as developing product management strategies to obtain market share leadership.

“I am excited to have Mike as a technical leader for our team at YANMAR,” said Arne Irwin, Business Unit Manager for the Energy Systems Division. “During his career, he has made significant contributions in the areas of product development, and has supported the integration of equipment into facilities with his collaborative approach with architects and facility owners.”

Mehrvarz most recently held a Senior Mechanical Engineer position with Mitsubishi Electric U.S. for three years. Additional prior roles include Project Engineer at Seasons-4, Inc., Consulting Engineering for Thompson Company, Inc., Consulting Engineer for Engineering Design Technology and others. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA.
